Hi, I’m Rachael – the proud owner of Work Threads. After retiring from the Police Force, I discovered a new passion while working at King Textiles. I loved my time there, and while it was a sad day when Kings closed, I was fortunate enough to purchase the equipment and continue doing what I love.
Background
Rachel spent 26 years in the police, where fairness, accountability, and integrity shaped her approach to everything. After leaving the force, she swapped uniforms for embroidery machines — blending her values with her creative side to found Work Threads.
Her motto, “We’ll never stitch you up,” sums her up perfectly: honest, quirky, and determined to give people great value and service.
